Gustav Weber Petterson served on MS Gripsholm from January 3rd 1949 to July 16th 1953. During his 4½ years on board MS Gripsholm he met many celebrities and happy, appreciative passengers.

Gustav Weber Petterson, always called just Weber by his colleagues, was Danish, though his name reveals that his father was Swedish. He was born in 1908 and passed away in 1994.

Danish resistance during WWII, won the 64 000 Dollar Question on American TV,
and was the first Inuk in Canada to be elected as an MP.
